Welcome to Episode 22 of the UCStatus Podcast. This episode features me (@randychapman) & Shawn Harry (@shawnharry) are joined by very special guests Ilya Bukshteyn (@ilyabu) and Sandhya Rao (@sandhyarrao) from Microsoft.
In this episode we chat with the people responsible for personal devices for Microsoft Teams. It seems that I’ve finally found people that have and test more devices than me 😉.
We talk about the ecosystem partners and all they do to advance the space. Vendors are only too glad to do it, because they say devices certified for Skype for Business and Teams actually outsell non platform specific devices.
We find out what a typical day looks like for the devices team. The kind of testing devices go through. Some of the exciting things that Microsoft (and vendors) are thinking about to enhance the personal space. How it’s not just a quality thing anymore – i.e. devices have to make what your doing and where your doing it, better.
