Hello Readers, I hope you’re well.
Welcome to episode 9 of the UCStatus Podcast. This episode features me (@randychapman), Mark Vale (@unifiedvale) and Shawn Harry (@shawnharry), and a special guest from AudioCodes.
This week we chat with John Stewart-Murray, pre-sales consultant from AudioCodes UK and dive into one of the broadest product and solution portfolios in the Microsoft UC world.

We talk in great detail about
- Local Media Optimization (LMO) for Teams voice
- Resiliency options for Teams
- Teams Phone, device and SBC management
- Teams phones and meeting room solutions
- Call detail and quality reporting for Teams calls and meetings
- Call recording for Teams
It was an interesting chat. We would love to hear your thoughts. And we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
If you want to know more about AudioCodes solutions for Teams, please reach out to your UC partner or AudioCodes directly.

Great discussion guys, Very informative and informal, like listening to a bunch of guys sitting in the pub having a few beers chewing the fat. John ‘the master’ is always my go to for these things and hes helped me with so much over the years and even been on site with me!

Great Podcast
One question although about LMO
Isn’t there any downside to it, that CQD data for the PSTN calls are no longer available within the Microsoft CQD portal.

Thank you Jurgen. It’s still just a Teams call. Just routes differently. Do you should still get CQD stats
