The first post on my new blog!

You probably know that I have another blog at lynciverse.com. I decided to start a new blog on WordPress because I think I’ll have a bit more flexibility with customization than I do on Blogger. I decided on a different domain because, you know, Lync hasn’t been a thing for a few years now.

The plan is that all new posts come to UCStatus. I’ll probably bring the posts from lynciverse.com over to UCStatus at some point. But I’ll also leave those where they are because after 6 years of blogging I have a fair amount of traffic coming in to them from all manner of locations, from organic searches, or links and shares on social media to other sites and bloggers adding links to my stuff (thank you).

As the tag line says, the home of UC news, reviews and how-to’s. The focus will be on Skype for Business & Microsoft Teams plus related stuff. This is pretty much what I have done on the other blog and it seems to work (for you). I’ll also add some more Microsoft 365 workloads as time goes on. Primarily stuff that relates to Skype and Teams.

I’m also going to start publishing more videos on my YouTube channel and creating posts here for them to nest in. I may even start a regular web show.

The plan is more of everything.
